Here at Grovo, we use the lesson Create tool to help build our office culture.
Every new member to join our team creates a Welcome lesson during their onboarding as a way to introduce themselves to the organization.

Kate Rotunno, Director of Customer Success
As new hires construct their Welcome lessons, they learn how to create engaging content using the variety of rich media card formats offered in the Create tool.

Liz Han, Customer Experience Associate
Welcome lessons generally kick off with basic information about the new hire, such as preferred name, email address, and what team they're joining. From there the lessons can lead anywhere!
Some of our favorite lessons share a bit of personal background (e.g. hometown, education, pets, etc.), insights into hobbies or unique skills, and an assortment of fun facts about the person or their interests.

Steven Carpenter, CEO of Grovo
We love Welcome lessons because they go beyond teaching our team how to use Grovo to significantly lessen the barriers of being a bi-coastal office. Getting to know every member of the organization, regardless of which office they work out of, sets us up to function more cohesively and with plenty of collaboration.
