Once you create a Campaign or choose an existing Campaign to add triggers to you’ll need to:
- Confirm duration of the Campaign.
- Triggered assignment durations are set at the Campaign level. To edit this, you must edit the Campaign itself.
- Select the radio button accordingly for the 'Triggered' assignment type option.
- Be sure to select the 'Triggered' button, otherwise, the “One-time” assignment type is the default that will display select individual or groups of Learners to assign a Campaign to.
- Be sure to select the 'Triggered' button, otherwise, the “One-time” assignment type is the default that will display select individual or groups of Learners to assign a Campaign to.
- Decide the point at which you want to engage the Learner.
- You have the opportunity to set a trigger when a user is first added to Grovo or when they are first added to a group.
New hire onboarding: Content is automatically assigned to the Learner when they are added to Grovo:
New to group: Content is automatically assigned to the Learner when they join a particular group(s).
- The Admin can add 1 or many groups to a triggered assignment by searching and selecting the targeted group(s):
Need to make changes to the triggered group?
In addition to assigning to new group members moving forward, you're also able to assign to existing group members retroactively.
- Selecting this option displays a confirmation of the number of Learners, along with their names, who will receive the assignment:

What if I need to add triggers to Campaigns that were initially created without this feature?
No sweat! On the Campaign details page, simply select the “Add trigger” button in the Triggers table. See here for more about managing Campaign triggers.
